Join us to spark stories, share science, and support those impacted by memory loss.

Through heartfelt stories, expert interviews, and science made simple, we aim to bridge the gap between neuroscience and the communities it impacts. Join us as we explore the science, share lived experiences, and advocate for a more informed, compassionate future.

Who We Are

We are an organization dedicated to raising awareness about dementia and empowering those affected by memory loss by providing support, a strong community, caregivers, knowledge, and much more!

What Is Dementia?

Remember that obnoxious roommate who rearranges the furniture in their head and forgets where they placed it? Say "hi' to dementia---who leaves you frantically trying to make sense of everything. It's more than just getting "older"; it's a condition where memory, reasoning, and even simple everyday activities become difficult.

Alzheimer's disease is the
most common form of this disorder.

Dementia patients may struggle to find the correct words, lose their way in their own neighborhood, or forget what they had for breakfast (or perhaps who prepared it). So imagine a loved one forgets who you are--yup, incredibly sad and heartbreaking. That's why we, Memory Matters, aim to foster as much support and understanding to dementia patients, and you can make a difference too!
